What’s in our Semester

Curious about what’s on deck for enrolled youth this fall? Here’s a quick peek at our comprehensive sex ed program designed for high schooler aged teens:

Unit 1: The Personal 🧍

• Workshops on anatomy, pleasure, birth control, emergency contraception & abortion, and porn literacy. This is about understanding our bodies beyond pet names, recognizing that sexuality starts with the self, and de-bunking myths.

Unit 2: The Interpersonal 👭

• Engaging workshops on sexual health, consent, queerness, and monogamy/non-monogamy—building communication confidence and dismantling stigma.

Unit 3: Sex and Society 🌎

• Critical conversations about race, disability, fatphobia, and sex worker rights and laws globally, and more. We examine how social systems impact sexuality and identity.

With guidance from skilled sex educators and legal experts, we make sure everything is inclusive, and grounded in today’s world, so our students feel empowered to become their community’s sexual health experts.

How the Application Works:

• Young people apply directly via our website, including information about their after school availability.

• A parent/guardian then completes our consent form. Our liaison Natasha helps applicants through this process, offering options on how to reach this requirement and acting as a direct representative parents can run their questions by. The application allows parents to opt in or out of individual workshops if needed, our hope is that parents opt out of individual workshops on behalf of their teen, rather than the program as a whole.

• Once accepted, students join a small, supportive cohort (10–15 students) for a semester of transformative learning.
