Applications are Open | The Youth Sexpert Progra

We’re thrilled to announce that applications for The Youth Sexpert Program’s Fall 2025 cohort are officially OPEN — now through August 18th!

The Youth Sexpert Program is a semester-long, virtual training designed to equip young people (ages 14–18) with the knowledge and confidence to become their community’s go-to sexual health education resource. Our students join they have the opportunity to learn about everything from anatomy to consent, pleasure, communication, media literacy, and more, all from a sex-positive, shame-free, LGBTQ+ affirming lens.

Workshops are held once a week via Zoom, led by Tara Michaela Jones (Founder) and guest experts in the field of sexual health. In addition to weekly workshops, students get access to toolkits, resources, and continued support after graduation.

How the Application Works:

• Young people apply directly via our website, including information about their after school availability.

• A parent/guardian then completes our consent form. Our liaison Natasha helps applicants through this process, offering options on how to reach this requirement and acting as a direct representative parents can run their questions by. The application allows parents to opt in or out of individual workshops if needed, our hope is that parents opt out of individual workshops on behalf of their teen, rather than the program as a whole.

• Once accepted, students join a small, supportive cohort (10–15 students) for a semester of transformative learning.
